With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anestis Lazaridis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thymios Partalidis's late challenge caught a Π.Σ. Καλαμάτα's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thymios Partalidis helped the player get up and apologised. Π.Σ. Καλαμάτα's Fotis Perdikas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prokopis Kavalaris in the 8th minute of play. Anestis Lazaridis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sotos Megas in the 11th minute of the match. Anestis Lazaridis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kostas Moulakakis in the 14th minute. Fotis Perdikas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prokopis Kavalaris, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 26thth minute of the game Sotos Megas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Berbαti's Anestis Lazaridis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sotos Megas kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 32ndth minute of the game Kostas Moulakakis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Berbαti's Anestis Lazaridis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Berbαti booed when Π.Σ. Καλαμάτα was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthimos Katsikopodaros didn't get a good kick on the ball. During the 37th minute of the match Thymios Partalidis completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Thymios Partalidis a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 38th minute, Thymios Partalidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute, Sotos Megas fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Sotos Megas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Panos Vouzounerakis kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Sotos Megas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anestis Lazaridis having to interfere. Kostas Moulakakis struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Anestis Lazaridis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Π.Σ. Καλαμάτα. Anestis Lazaridis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thalis Kefalas in the 58th minute of the match. After 58 minutes, Tasos Pilavas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Berbαti and the Π.Σ. Καλαμάτα players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Berbαti's Tasos Pilavas got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute of the match Kostas Moulakakis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anestis Lazaridis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sotos Megas in the 74th minute of play forced Berbαti's goalkeeper Anestis Lazaridis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anestis Lazaridis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apostolis Tsiartas in the 80th minute of the match. After having played for 84 minutes, Kostas Moulakakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Π.Σ. Καλαμάτα's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kostas Moulakakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sotos Megas took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anestis Lazaridis. Anestis Lazaridis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 91st match minute, Berbαti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Argyris Christou to maneuver through the defense. Anestis Lazaridis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sotos Megas in the 95th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Π.Σ. Καλαμάτα had played much better football throughout.
