Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Panos Giotoulis got the match started through his kick off. After 5 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ΕΡΥΘΡΟΣ ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ! Ignatios Baltimas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerasimos Venoukas in the 11th minute of play. Ignatios Baltimas came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by PANATHINAIKOS FC's Gerasimos Venoukas. But to his dismay, Gerasimos Venoukas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 26th minute Gerasimos Venoukas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignatios Baltimas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th match minute, ΕΡΥΘΡΟΣ ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stathis Papadimoulis to maneuver through the defense. When Marinos Kastanias came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the PANATHINAIKOS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marinos Kastanias couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerasimos Venoukas in the 30th minute of play forced ΕΡΥΘΡΟΣ ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ's goalkeeper Ignatios Baltimas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gerasimos Venoukas to make the kick off. Ignatios Baltimas was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Gerasimos Venoukas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gerasimos Venoukas really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. After 56 minutes of play, PANATHINAIKOS FC's Gerasimos Venoukas made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ignatios Baltimas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Iason Kechagias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Ignatios Baltimas made a huge save. Gerasimos Venoukas in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ignatios Baltimas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerasimos Venoukas got free with Ignatios Baltimas in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ignatios Baltimas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerasimos Venoukas in the 64th minute. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Spyros Kavouratos took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Ignatios Baltimas to make any attempt to save it. In the 70th minute, PANATHINAIKOS FC's Iason Kechagias dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. Ignatios Baltimas didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when PANATHINAIKOS FC's Gerasimos Venoukas shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-9 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 84th minute, ΕΡΥΘΡΟΣ ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ's Louis Nikopolidis seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Louis Nikopolidis the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of ΕΡΥΘΡΟΣ ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Louis Nikopolidis had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 84th minute of the game. One of ΕΡΥΘΡΟΣ ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of PANATHINAIKOS FC:s goal. If Gerasimos Venoukas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ignatios Baltimas made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Gerasimos Venoukas sent off a good shot on target. 95 minutes into the match, Gerasimos Venoukas notched a goal, 0-11, to the right of ΕΡΥΘΡΟΣ ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ's Ignatios Baltimas. Ignatios Baltimas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gerasimos Venoukas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Ignatios Baltimas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded PANATHINAIKOS FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ΕΡΥΘΡΟΣ ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ.
