After some careless play in the Pirgoto FC defense, Saul Irrintzi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fondas Athanasiadis. The Pirgoto FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fondas Athanasiadis should have stopped the shot. Fondas Athanasiadis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrea Di Mascio in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Pirgoto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kostas Mousios came free, but Fondas Athanasiadis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fondas Athanasiadis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrea Di Mascio in the 14th minute of the match. Fondas Athanasiadis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saul Irrintzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After having played for 23 minutes, Manolis Vasilopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pirgoto FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manolis Vasilopoulos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andrea Di Mascio struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Fondas Athanasiadis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ΝΥΧΤΕΡΙΔΕΣ f.c. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kostas Mousios in the 33rd minute of play forced Pirgoto FC's goalkeeper Fondas Athanasiadis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fondas Athanasiadis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kostas Mousios in the 34th minute of the match. Lambis Vardinogiannis charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lambis Vardinogiannis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in ΝΥΧΤΕΡΙΔΕΣ f.c's zone, Manolis Vasilopoulos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Przemyslaw Karanowski came out of the goal and Manolis Vasilopoulos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fondas Athanasiadis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andrea Di Mascio went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After 47 played minutes ΝΥΧΤΕΡΙΔΕΣ f.c got a freekick which was hit by Nikiforos Tavanidis. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Manolis Vasilopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pirgoto FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Manolis Vasilopoulos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Przemyslaw Karanowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half ΝΥΧΤΕΡΙΔΕΣ f.c were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Saul Irrintzi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, ΝΥΧΤΕΡΙΔΕΣ f.c's Andrea Di Mascio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Fondas Athanasiadis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saul Irrintzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fondas Athanasiadis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Irrintzi in the 57th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 邵斐骋 during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Vassilis Valkanis fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ΝΥΧΤΕΡΙΔΕΣ f.c's protests and gave Vassilis Valkanis a yellow card for diving instead. Vassilis Valkanis kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 75th minute Pirgoto FC were awarded a corner. Akis Koutsovassilis went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 75th minute, Minas Metaxas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th match minute, ΝΥΧΤΕΡΙΔΕΣ f.c was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Minas Metaxas to maneuver through the defense. The ΝΥΧΤΕΡΙΔΕΣ f.c supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ΝΥΧΤΕΡΙΔΕΣ f.c would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
