Polydeukis FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 11th minute, Kostas Staboulidis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 12th minute Iason Kiourtsidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avraam Iordanopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Giannis Psichomanis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Giannis Psichomanis was the one to do the kick off. Polydeukis FC's Andreas Skrekis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giannis Psichomanis in the 52nd minute of play. After 53 minutes of play Polydeukis FC's Miltos Katsara was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Miltos Katsara kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mesimιri BC's goalkeeper Avraam Iordanopoulos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 62 minutes, Lakis Giotoulis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mesimιri BC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lakis Giotoulis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 65th minute, Lakis Giotoulis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andreas Skrekis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giannis Psichomanis in the 68th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kostas Staboulidis got free with Avraam Iordanopoulos in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Theodosis Karagiannidis fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Andreas Skrekis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lakis Giotoulis, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giannis Psichomanis in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andreas Skrekis saved Polydeukis FC from getting behind. After 93 played minutes Polydeukis FC got a freekick which was hit by Iason Kiourtsidis. After a defensive mix-up in Polydeukis FC's zone, Lakis Giotoulis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andreas Skrekis came out of the goal and Lakis Giotoulis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mesimιri BC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
