An unexpectedly hard shot by Themistoklis Daniilidis in the 14th minute of play forced APOLLON AGRINIOU's goalkeeper Vaggelis Sakaridis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute Giorgos Poursanidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vaggelis Sakaridis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Kámpos's goal looked a bit too open when Alexis Tsakanikas came free, but Leonidas Sakoulidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diogenis Trabakoulos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vaggelis Sakaridis was a little too slow when Renos Zacharoulis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 0-1. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alexis Tsakanikas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vaggelis Sakaridis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giorgos Poursanidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. APOLLON AGRINIOU's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexis Tsakanikas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 96 minutes into the match, APOLLON AGRINIOU's Alexis Tsakanikas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonidas Sakoulidis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Kámpos eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
