Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) ROMANOS's Apostolikas Stelidis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Paris Mitras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kleanthis Moschovitis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute Apostolikas Stelidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kleanthis Moschovitis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ROMANOS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Theodosis Iakovakis in the 10th minute. Kleanthis Moschovitis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paris Mitras went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Lousιsto BC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Sokratis Livathinos hit a great ball. In the 25th minute of the match Fanis Stamatakopoulou shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kleanthis Moschovitis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Apostolikas Stelidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lousιsto BC's Kleanthis Moschovitis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sakis Karageorgiou in the 36th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in ROMANOS's zone, Lambis Roussos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miltos Stroggilos came out of the goal and Lambis Roussos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd match minute, ROMANOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theodosis Iakovakis to maneuver through the defense. After 46 played minutes, Lousιsto BC's Apostolos Kavouroglou shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Miltos Stroggilos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lousιsto BC reached it. After the first half ROMANOS were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lambis Roussos to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Apostolikas Stelidis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ROMANOS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lousιsto BC the free kick. Apostolikas Stelidis hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After 57 minutes, Sakis Karageorgiou mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ROMANOS and the Lousιsto BC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, ROMANOS's Sakis Karageorgiou got a free kick in the 58th minute. Chrisostomos Salemenopoulos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miltos Stroggilos having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paris Mitras got free with Kleanthis Moschovitis in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Paris Mitras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lousιsto BC's Kleanthis Moschovitis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Lousιsto BC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to ROMANOS getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Spyros Tachtatzis hit a great ball. Apostolikas Stelidis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kleanthis Moschovitis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Lousιsto BC's zone, Paris Mitras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kleanthis Moschovitis came out of the goal and Paris Mitras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kleanthis Moschovitis made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Paris Mitras sent off a good shot on target. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Lousιsto BC's goalkeeper Kleanthis Moschovitis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 92 minutes into the match, Lousιsto BC's goal looked a bit too open when Sakis Karageorgiou came free, but Kleanthis Moschovitis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over ROMANOS could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lousιsto BC throughout the match.
