Theofanis Kallas struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Renos Kechagias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Partalia. Theofanis Kallas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Renos Kechagias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Renos Kechagias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikiforos Tirogalos, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After 21 played minutes DownTown Boys got a freekick which was hit by Odysseas Abelas. After a defensive mix-up in DownTown Boys's zone, Theofanis Kallas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renos Kechagias came out of the goal and Theofanis Kallas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Theofanis Kallas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renos Kechagias having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Theofanis Kallas in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Renos Kechagias saved DownTown Boys from getting behind. Renos Kechagias stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nikiforos Tirogalos's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. After 34 minutes, Theofanis Kallas made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. DownTown Boys's Renos Kechagias tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 37th match minute, Partalia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthimos Nekos to maneuver through the defense. In the 39thth minute of the game Theofanis Kallas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DownTown Boys's Renos Kechagias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 50 played minutes DownTown Boys got a freekick which was hit by Stratos Papadamakis. After 55 minutes, Valerios Stelakoglou mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Partalia and the DownTown Boys players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of DownTown Boys booed when Partalia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valerios Stelakoglou didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Lazaros Dimitratos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antonis Kakouris. Partalia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lazaros Dimitratos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Theofanis Kallas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Renos Kechagias came out and tried to block the shot, but Theofanis Kallas slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 61st minute. Theofanis Kallas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theofanis Kallas in the 71st minute of play forced DownTown Boys's goalkeeper Renos Kechagias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Renos Kechagias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theofanis Kallas, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Theofanis Kallas during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Partalia getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Theofanis Kallas hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the game, DownTown Boys's Lazaros Dimitratos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antonis Kakouris made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After a rather tough play, Partalia's Giannis Tzevelekos got a free kick in the 94th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
