Apostolis Kassianidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stamatis Vozikis in the 5th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Spyros Kourmentalas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iakovos Irinopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Vaggelis Zaloumis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vaggelis Zaloumis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Errikos Anagnostou in the 31st minute of play. Babbis Kyprianos charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Babbis Kyprianos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Kalindνri FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Babbis Kyprianos hit a great ball. Errikos Anagnostou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vaggelis Zaloumis having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Stamatis Mantouvalos could shoot a difficult shot in the 39th minute, which Vaggelis Zaloumis however easily saved by the left post. Christos Papaloukas's late challenge caught a Kalindνri FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christos Papaloukas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd match minute, Vostina BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christos Papaloukas to maneuver through the defense.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Spyros Kourmentalas was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Kalindνri FC's Nontas Koklas got a free kick in the 57th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Errikos Anagnostou had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vaggelis Zaloumis. Vaggelis Zaloumis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iakovos Irinopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stamatis Mantouvalos during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Kalindνri FC booed when Vostina BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stamatis Mantouvalos didn't get a good kick on the ball.
