Kámpos FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Ciriaco Piarres scored to the left of an out of position Marios Nikolaou, making the score, 3-0. 41 minutes into the match, Ciriaco Piarres had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marios Nikolaou. Kámpos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ciriaco Piarres was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Alekos Koronios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Otsoko having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 47 minutes into the game, when Iason Kyriakos put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Internationale fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 47th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Kámpos FC a penalty, 49 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Christos Vikelidis, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Internationale's Teo Otsoko. 4-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

The supporters of Internationale booed when Kámpos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fragiskos Aggeloulis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marios Nikolaou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michalis Kortzidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Internationale getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Christos Theodorakos hit a great ball. After 87 played minutes Internationale got a freekick which was hit by Fokas Dermitzakis. After a rather tough play, Internationale's Ciriaco Piarres got a free kick in the 88th minute. Teo Otsoko made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Christos Vikelidis sent off a good shot on target. In the 91st minute, Kleon Chronopoulos fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Teo Otsoko, passed just outside the right post. Michalis Kortzidis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marios Nikolaou read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. If Dimitris Saltsidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 100th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Kámpos FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Internationale.
