Theocharis Kourmentalas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iakovos Kapeliotis having to interfere. Kostas Kagiorgis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Giannis Kourkoubetis made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Fokas Kostoulas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Giannis Kourkoubetis was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. With his leg Iakovos Kapeliotis managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Kendrνon FC's Theocharis Kourmentalas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Theocharis Kourmentalas came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Kendrνon FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Theocharis Kourmentalas couldn't finish the play. Kendrνon FC's Nestoras Stratos got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mouzαkion fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! Iakovos Kapeliotis had in the 59thth minute some difficulties stopping Tilemachos Markomichalis's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Kostas Kagiorgis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Kostas Kagiorgis came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Mouzαkion fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kostas Kagiorgis couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Mouzαkion's Iakovos Kapeliotis got control of the ball when Theocharis Kourmentalas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Argyris Varelis charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
