Efthimis Karagiannis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Markos Kastaniou, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Trifon Vintras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Efthimis Karagiannis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Akis Samiamidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Semιli's Andreas Panagiotou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lakis Kalathakis in the 16th minute of play. Lakis Kalathakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andreas Panagiotou having to interfere. Odysseas Karouselis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Odysseas Karouselis's late challenge caught a Semιli's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Odysseas Karouselis helped the player get up and apologised. Lakis Kalathakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paraskevas Kyriakakoglou hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute of the match Konstantinos Vrachopoulos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Efthimis Karagiannis skillfully saved the ball. Lakis Kalathakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th minute, Semιli's Akis Samiamidis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Efthimis Karagiannis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trifon Vintras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Trifon Vintras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vladimiros Georgakopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Akis Samiamidis in the 57th minute of play forced Sklαtaina FC's goalkeeper Efthimis Karagiannis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Trifon Vintras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Efthimis Karagiannis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Trifon Vintras managed to get in a good position for a shot. Semιli's supporters rose to their feet, but Trifon Vintras was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Efthimis Karagiannis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Trifon Vintras might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Efthimis Karagiannis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Trifon Vintras ran back to his position shaking his head. Efthimis Karagiannis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Akis Samiamidis's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. If Akis Samiamidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Sklαtaina FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Valentinos Mermigis hit a great ball. Konstantinos Vrachopoulos, 81 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 90th minute Trifon Vintras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efthimis Karagiannis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Trifon Vintras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Efthimis Karagiannis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sklαtaina FC's Christos Skondras got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 97th minute Akis Samiamidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efthimis Karagiannis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Semιli's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
