Lakis Kalathakis started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Babbis Michail in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Efthimis Karagiannis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 15 minutes, Odysseas Karouselis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sklαtaina FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Odysseas Karouselis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nikos Papoutsakos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Efthimis Karagiannis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vladimiros Georgakopoulos charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vladimiros Georgakopoulos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vladimiros Georgakopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nikos Papoutsakos in the 27th managed to get into a good position. In the 37th minute, Leonidas Kaklamanis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Nikos Papoutsakos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mikrσkastron FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nikos Papoutsakos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Efthimis Karagiannis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Babbis Michail in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Efthimis Karagiannis saved Sklαtaina FC from getting behind. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Babbis Michail was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Lakis Kalathakis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sklαtaina FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The supporters of Sklαtaina FC booed when Mikrσkastron FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tolis Kotsidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sklαtaina FC's Lakis Kalathakis got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Mikrσkastron FC's zone, Vladimiros Georgakopoulos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fotis Kefalos came out of the goal and Vladimiros Georgakopoulos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Sklαtaina FC booed when Mikrσkastron FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Babbis Michail didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mikrσkastron FC's Nikos Papoutsakos got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 66 played minutes Sklαtaina FC got a freekick which was hit by Prokopis Kazakos. Fotis Kefalos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Odysseas Karouselis in the 72nd minute of the match. Odysseas Karouselis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Fotis Kefalos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Mikrσkastron FC's goal looked a bit too open when Odysseas Karouselis came free, but Fotis Kefalos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Eugenios Giaourtas fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mikrσkastron FC's protests and gave Eugenios Giaourtas a yellow card for diving instead. 89 minutes into the match, Mikrσkastron FC's goal looked a bit too open when Odysseas Karouselis came free, but Fotis Kefalos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Babbis Michail came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Mikrσkastron FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Babbis Michail couldn't finish the play. Nikos Papoutsakos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute.
