Punisher's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christoforos Staboulis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. With a little luck, Punisher's Iordanis Argyridis got control of the ball when Nunez Amato tried to sneak it across the goal line. The FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO's Nunez Amato looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Punisher's Iordanis Argyridis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Punisher from getting a goal against them. Nunez Amato's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Iordanis Argyridis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nunez Amato in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Punisher the free kick. The supporters of Punisher booed when FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nunez Amato in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iordanis Argyridis saved Punisher from getting behind. In the 43rd minute of the match FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO got a corner. Punisher's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Oliver Hansted ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Oliver Hansted got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Iordanis Argyridis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 45th match minute, Punisher was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilias Lazarou to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Punisher's zone, Giannis Vamvakas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iordanis Argyridis came out of the goal and Giannis Vamvakas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th match minute, Punisher was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kleon Sfakianakis to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nunez Amato to make the kick off. Iordanis Argyridis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliver Hansted in the 55th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dimitris Loukanidis got free with Martin Chocholatý in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nunez Amato in the 61st minute of play forced Punisher's goalkeeper Iordanis Argyridis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nunez Amato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iordanis Argyridis having to interfere. Iordanis Argyridis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nunez Amato in the 66th minute of play. After having played for 69 minutes, Dimitris Loukanidis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Punisher's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dimitris Loukanidis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iordanis Argyridis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christoforos Staboulis, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 76 minutes into the match, Oliver Hansted had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iordanis Argyridis. If Kleon Sfakianakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Punisher's Iordanis Argyridis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christoforos Staboulis in the 88th minute of play. Iordanis Argyridis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nunez Amato in the 91st minute of the match.
