The tension between the PAOK and the FIGHTER F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Markos Bibis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Avraam Labiris's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Anestis Tzougarakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Giorgos Stavrakas made a huge save. In the 11th match minute, FIGHTER F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elder Duarte to maneuver through the defense. Isidoros Saloufidis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Giorgos Stavrakas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 23rd minute Isidoros Saloufidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giorgos Stavrakas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of FIGHTER F.C. booed when PAOK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Makis Papaikonomou didn't get a good kick on the ball. Avraam Labiris recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Avraam Labiris sped through PAOK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Markos Bibis. After a rather tough play, PAOK's Nasos Patakos got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 38th minute Anestis Tzougarakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giorgos Stavrakas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Isidoros Saloufidis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Giorgos Stavrakas. That made the score 1-1 in the 45 minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Avraam Labiris was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, PAOK's goal looked a bit too open when Avraam Labiris came free, but Markos Bibis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Markos Bibis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrián Urbieta in the 53rd minute of the match. When PAOK's Nasos Patakos in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FIGHTER F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. PAOK's Stratos Bourantas was substituted for Grigoris Kalabakas. Vassilis Tsartsalis kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 76th match minute, PAOK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoros Saloufidis to maneuver through the defense. After 79 minutes FIGHTER F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Makis Papaikonomou who took care of the corner kick. When FIGHTER F.C.'s Avraam Labiris in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PAOK's goalie prevented a goal. The corner ended in Stratos Rokkas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but PAOK's Markos Bibis did a great save. Giorgos Stavrakas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nasos Patakos in the 85th minute of the match. Giorgos Stavrakas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoros Saloufidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isidoros Saloufidis scored 2-1 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Giorgos Stavrakas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Avraam Labiris in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Markos Bibis saved PAOK from getting behind.
