Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Adamantios Dimatos made the kick off which started today's match. The supporters of Coldplayers M.D.V. Patras booed when RIO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grigoris Staboulidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Avraam Pedoulakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thymios Venetidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Coldplayers M.D.V. Patras's zone, Ignatios Meletis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eutichios Manolas came out of the goal and Ignatios Meletis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Akis Koukoulekis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Eutichios Manolas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Sokratis Tsagarakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Akis Koukoulekis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Eutichios Manolas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ignatios Meletis took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eutichios Manolas. Eutichios Manolas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Avraam Pedoulakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adamantios Dimatos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 25 minutes, Grigoris Staboulidis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RIO FC and the Coldplayers M.D.V. Patras players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 25th match minute, RIO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grigoris Staboulidis to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pavlos Kandarakis in the 29th minute of play forced RIO FC's goalkeeper Avraam Pedoulakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adamantios Dimatos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Avraam Pedoulakis having to interfere. In the 31st match minute, RIO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sokratis Tsagarakis to maneuver through the defense. Avraam Pedoulakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adamantios Dimatos in the 32nd minute of play. Akis Koukoulekis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eutichios Manolas came out and tried to block the shot, but Akis Koukoulekis slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 36th minute. The supporters of RIO FC booed when Coldplayers M.D.V. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Ignatios Meletis managed to get in a good position for a shot. RIO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ignatios Meletis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eutichios Manolas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Akis Koukoulekis made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Akis Koukoulekis in the 51st minute of play forced Coldplayers M.D.V. Patras's goalkeeper Eutichios Manolas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 53 minutes, Ignatios Meletis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RIO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignatios Meletis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 55 minutes into the match, Ignatios Meletis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eutichios Manolas. Coldplayers M.D.V. Patras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ignatios Meletis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Anastasios Mamais struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Eutichios Manolas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RIO FC. Ignatios Meletis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eutichios Manolas having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Akis Koukoulekis notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Coldplayers M.D.V. Patras's Eutichios Manolas. Eutichios Manolas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eutichios Manolas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filippos Mimidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Ignatios Meletis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Patras's goal looked a bit too open when Ignatios Meletis came free, but Eutichios Manolas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filippos Mimidis charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filippos Mimidis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Coldplayers M.D.V. In the 87th minute, Ignatios Meletis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RIO FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. When Akis Koukoulekis came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the RIO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Akis Koukoulekis couldn't finish the play. Akis Koukoulekis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Eutichios Manolas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. RIO FC had played much better football throughout.
