Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ολυμπος Αγιασου's Luís Aparecido started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Vaggelis Ligeridis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Aparecido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 7 minutes into the match, Luís Aparecido had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vaggelis Ligeridis. Atalanti F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luís Aparecido was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. A collision led to Ολυμπος Αγιασου getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Alkis Kaliakatsos hit a great ball. If Paraskevas Louverdis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 24th minute, Antonis Karouselis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute Paraskevas Louverdis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikos Pegiadis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd match minute, Ολυμπος Αγιασου was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loukianos Papageorgiou to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Themistoklis Poursaitidis in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vaggelis Ligeridis saved Atalanti F.C. from getting behind. Luís Aparecido recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olov Melberg during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 45 played minutes Ολυμπος Αγιασου got a freekick which was hit by Olov Melberg. The Atalanti F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ολυμπος Αγιασου were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Spyros Sfoliatas made a kick off. Nikos Pegiadis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Spyros Sfoliatas went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 56th minute Luís Aparecido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vaggelis Ligeridis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, Paraskevas Louverdis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In a very dangerous position, a player in Atalanti F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! Vaggelis Ligeridis went to the wrong direction when Olov Melberg was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 65 minutes in the game, Luís Aparecido fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Vaggelis Ligeridis having to interfere. Ολυμπος Αγιασου's Nikos Pegiadis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Spyros Sfoliatas in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute, Spyros Sfoliatas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nikos Pegiadis was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. The supporters of Ολυμπος Αγιασου booed when Atalanti F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikos Spelas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute of the match Martin Llorenc sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vaggelis Ligeridis skillfully saved the ball. Nikos Pegiadis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Spyros Sfoliatas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vaggelis Ligeridis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Aparecido, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Aparecido in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vaggelis Ligeridis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Luís Aparecido's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vaggelis Ligeridis was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Ολυμπος Αγιασου's zone, Nikos Spelas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nikos Pegiadis came out of the goal and Nikos Spelas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nikos Pegiadis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Spyros Sfoliatas, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute.
