In the 3rd minute, Giorgos Iordanou got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chatziioannou Dedes's late challenge caught a Velα's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chatziioannou Dedes helped the player get up and apologised. Giorgos Iordanou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 16th match minute, Velα was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Erdem Uludoğan to maneuver through the defense. POUTSA FC's Giannis Tziolis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save POUTSA FC from getting a goal against them. 26 minutes into the match, POUTSA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Giorgos Iordanou came free, but Giannis Tziolis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Gerasimos Zouboulakis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Giannis Tziolis. POUTSA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gerasimos Zouboulakis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. A collision led to POUTSA FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Stefanos Bountouris hit a great ball. When Velα's Giorgos Iordanou in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye POUTSA FC's goalie prevented a goal. Giorgos Iordanou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Giannis Tziolis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Giannis Tziolis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Giorgos Iordanou came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Velα fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giorgos Iordanou couldn't finish the play. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Giannis Tziolis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to POUTSA FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Stefanos Bountouris hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chatziioannou Dedes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aggelos Skopelitis scored 4-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Giannis Tziolis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Aggelos Skopelitis sped through POUTSA FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Giannis Tziolis. After 66 played minutes Velα got a freekick which was hit by Ali Erdem Uludoğan. After a rather tough play, POUTSA FC's Kleon Spyropoulos got a free kick in the 71st minute. Giannis Tziolis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blathaon Corcoran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerasimos Zouboulakis in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giannis Tziolis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Giannis Tziolis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aggelos Skopelitis in the 77th minute of play. Giannis Tziolis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aggelos Skopelitis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christos Kostarakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 82 minutes into the match, POUTSA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gerasimos Zouboulakis came free, but Giannis Tziolis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. POUTSA FC's Giannis Tziolis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giorgos Iordanou in the 83rd minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Giorgos Iordanou had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Giannis Tziolis. POUTSA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Giorgos Iordanou was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Giannis Tziolis came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Velα's Aggelos Skopelitis. But to his dismay, Aggelos Skopelitis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0.
