Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Armageddon's Bai Feng Wen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikos Sarkanis in the 5th minute of play. Bai Feng Wen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prodromos Kabourakis in the 8th minute of play. Takis Ntolkas in the 10thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Soulis Vamvakousis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chatziantoniou Xanthos in the 12th minute of play forced Armageddon's goalkeeper Bai Feng Wen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute Nikos Sarkanis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bai Feng Wen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Giannis Zouboulakis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Soulis Vamvakousis. Giannis Zouboulakis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christos Kaberis got free with Soulis Vamvakousis in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 31 minutes of play, meteora 1929's Chatziantoniou Xanthos made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bai Feng Wen was left in no man's land by his defense there! 36 minutes into the match, Armageddon's Markos Daniilopoulos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Soulis Vamvakousis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 39th match minute, meteora 1929 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aris Kasnaferis to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christos Kaberis got free with Soulis Vamvakousis in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christos Kaberis in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Soulis Vamvakousis saved meteora 1929 from getting behind. In the 53rd minute of the match Armageddon got a corner. meteora 1929's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Babbis Persias ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Babbis Persias got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Soulis Vamvakousis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Armageddon booed when meteora 1929 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chatziantoniou Xanthos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christos Kaberis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Soulis Vamvakousis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dimitris Fragou kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in meteora 1929's zone, Christos Kaberis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Soulis Vamvakousis came out of the goal and Christos Kaberis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Soulis Vamvakousis came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Armageddon's Takis Ntolkas. But to his dismay, Takis Ntolkas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 83 played minutes meteora 1929 got a freekick which was hit by Theofilos Bozidis. After 84 played minutes, Armageddon's Babbis Persias shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Soulis Vamvakousis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Armageddon reached it. In the 85th minute, Theofilos Bozidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 87 played minutes meteora 1929 got a freekick which was hit by Dean Bittner. Soulis Vamvakousis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Takis Ntolkas, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Armageddon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Takis Ntolkas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 96 minutes into the match, meteora 1929's goal looked a bit too open when Giannis Zouboulakis came free, but Soulis Vamvakousis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Armageddon had won after a very even match.
