In the 4th minute Thalis Kominatos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guo Shi Kang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute of the match MindHead FC got a corner. Lepνdhi FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alexandros Valsamis ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led MindHead FC's Alexandros Valsamis to fire away a dangerous shot which Guo Shi Kang despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Guo Shi Kang stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thalis Kominatos's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theodosis Karanikolaou in the 12th minute of play forced MindHead FC's goalkeeper Tolis Nomikos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pantelis Katsanikas kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, MindHead FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fragiskos Stilianopoulos came free, but Tolis Nomikos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thalis Kominatos in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guo Shi Kang prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lepνdhi FC were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after MindHead FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Giannis Karanikolas took the corner. After taking down the ball on Lepνdhi FC's corner Giannis Karanikolas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tolis Nomikos quite easily take care of the ball. Guo Shi Kang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathieu-Maxim Van Leemputte, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 36 played minutes Theodosis Karanikolaou rounded MindHead FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Fragiskos Stilianopoulos scored 2-0 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tolis Nomikos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. MindHead FC's Tolis Nomikos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zacharias Balodimos in the 44th minute of play. Mathieu-Maxim Van Leemputte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zacharias Balodimos to make the kick off.
