The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zisis Vourlis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Botasso in the 3rd minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Drafi's goalkeeper Manolis Ntouvaris had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christian Martxelin. The Drafi fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Drafi's Cristian Botasso looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Drafi's Manolis Ntouvaris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wit Zapolski in the 13th minute of play. Zisis Vourlis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kleon Sgouros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute of the match Drafi got a corner. Πυργετός Fc's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Malinovský ran over to the corner to take the kick. Drafi's Daniel Malinovský was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Zisis Vourlis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of Πυργετός Fc booed when Drafi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nektarios Bezas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Drafi's zone, Wit Zapolski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manolis Ntouvaris came out of the goal and Wit Zapolski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manolis Ntouvaris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wit Zapolski, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Anthimos Kousouridis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manolis Ntouvaris having to interfere. When Πυργετός Fc's Wit Zapolski in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Drafi's goalie prevented a goal. Cristian Botasso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Zisis Vourlis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cristian Botasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Πυργετός Fc's Zisis Vourlis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Elssen in the 37th minute of play. Cristian Botasso's late challenge caught a Πυργετός Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Botasso helped the player get up and apologised. In the 39th minute, Cristian Botasso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute of the match Drafi got a corner. Πυργετός Fc's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Malinovský ran over to the corner to take the kick. Daniel Malinovský made a great header on Drafi's corner, it was just that Πυργετός Fc's Zisis Vourlis managed to reach the ball for a save. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Cristian Botasso made the kick off in the second half. Nektarios Bezas made in the 53rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Πυργετός Fc's Anthimos Kousouridis. Zisis Vourlis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 65th match minute, Πυργετός Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valer Trifu to maneuver through the defense. Louis Panakis got a throw-in 70 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Kleon Sgouros. 74 minutes into the match, Πυργετός Fc's goalkeeper Zisis Vourlis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Malinovský. Chatziioannou Stavrakos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Zisis Vourlis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Drafi booed when Πυργετός Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valer Trifu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Πυργετός Fc's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Valer Trifu in the 82nd minute. 83 minutes into the match, Πυργετός Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Kleon Sgouros came free, but Zisis Vourlis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanos Kolokithopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgard Elssen got free with Zisis Vourlis in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle sounded Drafi left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Πυργετός Fc.
