The tension between the Viiskorpi IFK and the FC Reipas players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39thth minute of the game Hermanni Hietamäki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Viiskorpi IFK's Perttu Seppo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Hermanni Hietamäki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hermanni Hietamäki in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Perttu Seppo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Hermanni Hietamäki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toimi Ruisniemi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul Raisanen, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

Paul Raisanen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Toimi Ruisniemi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hermanni Hietamäki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the match, Viiskorpi IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Hermanni Hietamäki came free, but Perttu Seppo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on FC Reipas's corner Väinö Grönholm fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Perttu Seppo quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, Viiskorpi IFK's Santeri Lehti got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute, FC Reipas's Hermanni Hietamäki ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Perttu Seppo. Perttu Seppo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. After a rather tough play, Viiskorpi IFK's Santeri Manninen got a free kick in the 78th minute. Perttu Seppo made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Usko Ojala sent off a good shot on target. In the 86th match minute, FC Reipas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lari Niemivirta to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in FC Reipas's zone, Ahti Dahlman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toimi Ruisniemi came out of the goal and Ahti Dahlman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91stth minute of the game Paul Raisanen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Reipas's Toimi Ruisniemi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Perttu Seppo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermanni Hietamäki in the 97th minute of play. FC Reipas's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
