In the 8th minute, Santtu Viitakoski made a precise shot to the right of Antto Hakanen. Golden FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Jorma Pynnönen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Santtu Viitakoski to make the kick off. Santtu Viitakoski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Antto Hakanen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 90 minutes, Topi Ronkainen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Golden FC and the Luvankylä players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th match minute, Golden FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Topi Ronkainen to maneuver through the defense. A hard and well directed shot from Topi Ronkainen led 94 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Luvankylä's Valio Latvanen became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 2-2. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
