Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Niels Tervo kicked off to start the match. After 3 played minutes Peijari got a freekick which was hit by Juha-Pekka Bruun. Jean Miinalainen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaakoppi Nikander having to interfere. In the 9th match minute, Peijari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vilppu Rosendahl to maneuver through the defense. Jaakoppi Nikander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean Miinalainen in the 12th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Peijari's zone, Niels Tervo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaakoppi Nikander came out of the goal and Niels Tervo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Jean Miinalainen came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Väyryvaara FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jean Miinalainen couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Niels Tervo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Väyryvaara FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Niels Tervo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jaakoppi Nikander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jean Miinalainen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaakoppi Nikander having to interfere. Jean Miinalainen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Jaakoppi Nikander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mikko Rimpiläinen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aarni Grönholm having to interfere. Peijari's Jaakoppi Nikander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niels Tervo in the 28th minute of play. Aarni Grönholm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikko Rimpiläinen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Väyryvaara FC's Kal Kukkamäki got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kal Kukkamäki's late challenge caught a Peijari's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kal Kukkamäki helped the player get up and apologised. Kal Kukkamäki kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Aarni Grönholm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikko Rimpiläinen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marko Marttila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mikko Rimpiläinen to strike the kick off in the second half. Kal Kukkamäki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaakoppi Nikander having to interfere. Mikko Rimpiläinen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marko Marttila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Aarni Grönholm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mikko Rimpiläinen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Turkka Viklund's late challenge caught a Väyryvaara FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Turkka Viklund helped the player get up and apologised. In the 69th match minute, Peijari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Turkka Viklund to maneuver through the defense. Edvard Teräs, 70 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 75th minute, Niels Tervo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Jean Miinalainen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 90 minutes, Pal Aikonaa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Väyryvaara FC and the Peijari players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 90 played minutes Väyryvaara FC got a freekick which was hit by Pal Aikonaa. Peijari's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
