Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Orvo Masalin started the match with the kick off. When Pauli Huhtiniemi came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Rototeam fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pauli Huhtiniemi couldn't finish the play. Pauli Huhtiniemi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pertti Jatkola having to interfere. Elias Timoska struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Pertti Jatkola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rototeam. Huopanankoski IFK's Pertti Jatkola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Timoska in the 12th minute of play. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Nikodemus Jukkola sped through Rototeam's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lembitu Lokko. In the 21st minute Elias Timoska shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pertti Jatkola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Rototeam booed when Huopanankoski IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orvo Masalin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olli-Pekka Tuores fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pertti Jatkola having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Elias Timoska made a precise shot to the right of Pertti Jatkola. Huopanankoski IFK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 30 minutes into the match, Rototeam's goal looked a bit too open when Orvo Masalin came free, but Lembitu Lokko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orvo Masalin in the 30th minute of play forced Rototeam's goalkeeper Lembitu Lokko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Huopanankoski IFK were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Rototeam's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sulho Aho took the corner. The corner ended in Sulho Aho almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rototeam's Lembitu Lokko did a great save. The referee felt a red card was in order, 35 minutes into the game, when Robert Nicolae put in a rough tackle. 35 minutes into the game, one of Rototeam:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a defensive mix-up in Huopanankoski IFK's zone, Pauli Huhtiniemi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pertti Jatkola came out of the goal and Pauli Huhtiniemi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elias Timoska to strike the kick off in the second half. Elias Timoska received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Pertti Jatkola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Elias Timoska had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rototeam's Aatos Pisto was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 62nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Rototeam's Lembitu Lokko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikodemus Jukkola in the 66th minute of play. Lembitu Lokko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikodemus Jukkola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute of the game Ossian Metsäranta made a throw-in which Eero Pihlman played forward. The supporters of Huopanankoski IFK booed when Rototeam was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miro Tammisto didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Pauli Huhtiniemi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elias Timoska's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pertti Jatkola read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Elias Timoska recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Aatos Pisto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 87 minutes, Aatos Pisto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rototeam's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aatos Pisto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rototeam's Elias Timoska was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 89th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 96th minute, Esko Kuivaharju hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Huopanankoski IFK's Sulho Aho couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 97th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Rototeam. Rototeam's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
