Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Saku Sulonen got the match started through his kick off. After 2 played minutes Karis got a freekick which was hit by Sulo Timonen. In the 14th minute, Nikodemus Leppilampi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joni Rinne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Veeti Järventie, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Veeti Järventie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joni Rinne having to interfere. If Veeti Järventie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Nikodemus Leppilampi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Veeti Miinalainen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arvo Hänninen, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Karis's goalkeeper Joni Rinne had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nikodemus Leppilampi. After 34 minutes, Tommi Salmelainen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lausti and the Karis players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 34th minute, Tommi Salmelainen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karis's Joni Rinne proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Karis from getting a goal against them. Veeti Miinalainen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arvo Hänninen, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
53 minutes into the game, Tino Lampi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Veeti Miinalainen. With a little luck, Lausti's Veeti Miinalainen got control of the ball when Arvo Hänninen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nikodemus Leppilampi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joni Rinne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Veeti Järventie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karis's Joni Rinne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikodemus Leppilampi in the 62nd minute of play. Arvo Hänninen took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Veeti Miinalainen. Veeti Miinalainen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. With his leg Veeti Miinalainen managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Karis's Arvo Hänninen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Lausti booed when Karis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Turunen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Veeti Järventie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lausti's supporters rose to their feet, but Veeti Järventie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joni Rinne breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nikodemus Leppilampi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Joni Rinne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nikodemus Leppilampi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joni Rinne having to interfere. A collision led to Karis getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Tino Lampi hit a great ball. 97 minutes into the match, Lausti's Jesse Harinen broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When the final whistle went the supporters of Karis were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Lausti side.
