Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Heino Blom successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Aki Hakamäki scored 1-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Heino Blom, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aki Hakamäki ran back to his position shaking his head. Marko Luoma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paul Ylimäki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Heino Blom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Strandnäs FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
