Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Atte Nybacka in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petri Sihvonen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kullanperä FC's Petri Sihvonen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Kullanperä FC from getting a goal against them. In the 8th match minute, Kyyry was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atte Nybacka to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the game, Eero Etula was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kyyry's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kullanperä FC the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atte Nybacka in the 16th minute of play forced Kullanperä FC's goalkeeper Petri Sihvonen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Mikko Hotakainen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute, one of Kyyry:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kyyry. In the 44th minute there was a penalty for Kullanperä FC. Aarno Höök stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jalmari Palenius. 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Vili Vilmunen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Petri Sihvonen came out of the goal and Mikko Hotakainen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Heikki Sillanpää received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Petri Sihvonen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Heikki Sillanpää struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Petri Sihvonen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kyyry. Atte Nybacka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Petri Sihvonen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Atte Nybacka went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikko Hotakainen in the 85th minute of play forced Kullanperä FC's goalkeeper Petri Sihvonen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Petri Sihvonen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eero Etula in the 92nd minute of the match.
