Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kimi Lampi started the match with the kick off. Kimi Lampi was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 4th minute. Turkki FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 7th minute of the match Usko Andersson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommi Vuorinen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 9thth minute of the game Martti Rantanen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Turkki FC's Tommi Vuorinen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pertti Varis kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Turkki FC's Tommi Vuorinen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martti Rantanen in the 13th minute of play. When Uljas Halminen came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Pötteby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uljas Halminen couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pertti Varis in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jukka Holappa saved Pötteby from getting behind. 19 minutes into the game, Pötteby's Uljas Halminen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommi Vuorinen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 25 minutes into the game, Raine Hentunen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Turkki FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pötteby the free kick. After a rather tough play, Turkki FC's Raine Hentunen got a free kick in the 25th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Uljas Halminen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Tommi Vuorinen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mikko Tuulola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Turkki FC's Jori Niemi got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Jori Niemi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jori Niemi got free with Jukka Holappa in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Pötteby's Jukka Holappa got control of the ball when Mikko Tuulola tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Turkki FC's Pertti Varis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jukka Holappa. That made the score 1-2 after 46 minutes of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
The wind increased when Uljas Halminen made the kick off in the second half. Pötteby's Jukka Holappa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kimi Lampi in the 56th minute of play. After 58 minutes of play, Turkki FC's Samuel Jaakkola made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jukka Holappa was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Pertti Varis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pertti Varis in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jukka Holappa saved Pötteby from getting behind. Jori Niemi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jukka Holappa having to interfere. After having played for 67 minutes, Kimi Lampi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Turkki FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kimi Lampi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pertti Varis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pertti Varis in the 69th minute of play forced Pötteby's goalkeeper Jukka Holappa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pertti Varis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Jukka Holappa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Uljas Halminen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 79th minute Pertti Varis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jukka Holappa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Pötteby's zone, Pertti Varis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jukka Holappa came out of the goal and Pertti Varis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Pertti Varis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jukka Holappa was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. After having played for 86 minutes, Pertti Varis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Turkki FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pertti Varis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Pertti Varis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Turkki FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pertti Varis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jukka Holappa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 89 minutes into the match, Turkki FC's Pertti Varis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jukka Holappa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jori Niemi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jukka Holappa having to interfere. Pertti Varis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jori Niemi might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jukka Holappa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jori Niemi ran back to his position shaking his head. After 96th play minutes Jori Niemi shot 3-2, a short shot which went by Jukka Holappa and just under the crossbar into goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Turkki FC fully deserved thier win.
