After 17 played minutes Kortjärvi IFK got a freekick which was hit by Olof Ekman. Visa Peltomaa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olof Ekman's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. The wind increased when Paul Leonoff made the kick off in the second half. Urpo Laitila charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Urpo Laitila the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Kortjärvi IFK getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Urpo Laitila hit a great ball. Olof Ekman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Visa Peltomaa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match was over Kortjärvi IFK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than LIONS F.C throughout the match.
