Jalmari Keskinarkaus might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lasse Ukkonen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jalmari Keskinarkaus ran back to his position shaking his head. Herman Viljamaa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kullervo Vapamaa, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 7th match minute, Pätiälä was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aapeli Vappula to maneuver through the defense. Taito Ojanen's late challenge caught a Öllölänniemi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Taito Ojanen helped the player get up and apologised. After 10 played minutes, Öllölänniemi's Martti Paatelainen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Herman Viljamaa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Öllölänniemi reached it. A collision led to Pätiälä getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Sulevi Joenväärä hit a great ball. Pätiälä's Herman Viljamaa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kullervo Vapamaa in the 13th minute of play. Veli Peltomaa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Herman Viljamaa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pätiälä's Jalmari Keskinarkaus got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 20 minutes, Santeri Pakaslahti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Öllölänniemi and the Pätiälä players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 20th match minute, Öllölänniemi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santeri Pakaslahti to maneuver through the defense. Jalmari Keskinarkaus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lasse Ukkonen having to interfere. With a little luck, Öllölänniemi's Lasse Ukkonen got control of the ball when Niilo Lumme tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Jalmari Keskinarkaus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Öllölänniemi's zone, Niilo Lumme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lasse Ukkonen came out of the goal and Niilo Lumme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lasse Ukkonen made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Niilo Lumme sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Veli Peltomaa in the 36th minute of play forced Pätiälä's goalkeeper Herman Viljamaa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herman Viljamaa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Veli Peltomaa in the 38th minute of the match. Kullervo Vapamaa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Herman Viljamaa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pätiälä's Herman Viljamaa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Veli Peltomaa in the 43rd minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The wind increased when Kullervo Vapamaa made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Öllölänniemi's Veli Peltomaa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Herman Viljamaa. That made the score 0-1 after 52 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Kullervo Vapamaa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Öllölänniemi's supporters rose to their feet, but Kullervo Vapamaa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herman Viljamaa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jalmari Keskinarkaus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lasse Ukkonen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Pätiälä's Taito Ojanen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lasse Ukkonen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Öllölänniemi's Lasse Ukkonen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jalmari Keskinarkaus in the 77th minute of play. After 86 minutes of play, Pätiälä's Jalmari Keskinarkaus made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lasse Ukkonen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kullervo Vapamaa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Herman Viljamaa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
