After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Alpi Wahlroos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Espoo Red Bulls's supporters rose to their feet, but Alpi Wahlroos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arttu Viitanen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Leif Rantamäki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henri Mäkilä was the one to do the kick off. Arttu Viitanen had in the 60thth minute some difficulties stopping Alpi Wahlroos's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Stig-Arne Tidéksson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antti Pesonen's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. 66 minutes into the match, Antti Pesonen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stig-Arne Tidéksson. Espoo Red Bulls's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antti Pesonen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Alpi Wahlroos charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alpi Wahlroos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Antti Pesonen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stig-Arne Tidéksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antti Pesonen in the 84th minute of the match. Stig-Arne Tidéksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henri Mäkilä, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute.
