Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Veli Helin made the kick off which started today's match. Antti Pesonen made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 3rdth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Esa Alin would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. With splendid footwork Antti Pesonen arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-0 by the left pole in the game's 3rd minute. Esa Alin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henri Mäkilä, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the game, Henri Mäkilä cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Esa Alin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in EBK's zone, Henri Mäkilä stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esa Alin came out of the goal and Henri Mäkilä tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Henri Mäkilä had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, EBK's Esa Alin got control of the ball when Antti Pesonen tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 20 minutes, Henri Mäkilä managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Syvänmaa IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henri Mäkilä was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antti Pesonen struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Esa Alin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Syvänmaa IFK. Antti Pesonen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Antti Pesonen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esa Alin having to interfere. Henri Mäkilä scored 3-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Esa Alin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Esa Alin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tony Strömberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henri Mäkilä in the 33rd minute of play forced EBK's goalkeeper Esa Alin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 35 minutes of play, Syvänmaa IFK's Tony Strömberg made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Esa Alin was left in no man's land by his defense there! 41 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Syvänmaa IFK's Henri Mäkilä fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henri Mäkilä in the 43rd minute of play forced EBK's goalkeeper Esa Alin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Henri Mäkilä made a kick off. Esa Alin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henri Mäkilä, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Syvänmaa IFK booed when EBK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Veli Helin didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henri Mäkilä in the 53rd minute of play forced EBK's goalkeeper Esa Alin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esa Alin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henri Mäkilä in the 58th minute of play. Antti Pesonen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henri Mäkilä's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Esa Alin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Esa Alin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antti Pesonen, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 68th match minute, EBK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hemminki Hevonkorpi to maneuver through the defense. Esa Alin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antti Pesonen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esa Alin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henri Mäkilä in the 70th minute of play. The supporters of Syvänmaa IFK booed when EBK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aarre Kuoppala didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Syvänmaa IFK's Henri Mäkilä in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye EBK's goalie prevented a goal. After 74 minutes, Henri Mäkilä made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. EBK's Esa Alin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Veli Helin during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Syvänmaa IFK's Henri Mäkilä got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tony Strömberg charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tony Strömberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Henri Mäkilä's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Esa Alin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Henri Mäkilä recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Henri Mäkilä received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Esa Alin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Syvänmaa IFK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
