After 6 minutes, Lauri Suoste mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pockar and the Gräggnäs players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonne Kauppinen got free with Veikko Venäläinen in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 10 played minutes Pockar got a freekick which was hit by Saku Eskola. Ilkka Lahti blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Veikko Venäläinen having to make a save. Veikko Venäläinen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olavi Kuusiniemi, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute Olavi Kuusiniemi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Veikko Venäläinen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Untamo Siren hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. When Aleksi Paavola fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pockar's protests and gave Aleksi Paavola a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st match minute, Pockar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aleksi Paavola to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute Kalle Kivimäki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jyri Pietiläinen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Kalle Kivimäki notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Gräggnäs's Jyri Pietiläinen. Jyri Pietiläinen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pockar's goalkeeper Veikko Venäläinen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jyri Pietiläinen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saku Eskola, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Pockar's Veikko Venäläinen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Pockar from getting a goal against them. After the first half Pockar were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Kalle Kivimäki made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Olavi Kuusiniemi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gräggnäs's supporters rose to their feet, but Olavi Kuusiniemi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Veikko Venäläinen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eero Viinanen's late challenge caught a Gräggnäs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eero Viinanen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st match minute, Pockar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eero Viinanen to maneuver through the defense. Untamo Siren missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 63 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Veikko Venäläinen right hand side. 71 minutes into the game, Gräggnäs's Jonne Kauppinen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Veikko Venäläinen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. 75 minutes into the match, Pockar's goal looked a bit too open when Jonne Kauppinen came free, but Veikko Venäläinen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Pockar's goal looked a bit too open when Maunu Vahalahti came free, but Veikko Venäläinen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Maunu Vahalahti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pockar fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 90th minute. Penalty! Otto Sinisalo walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Veikko Venäläinen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonne Kauppinen, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
