After a rather tough play, Gräggnäs's Jonne Kauppinen got a free kick in the 57th minute. Gräggnäs's Jyri Pietiläinen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sulo Väätäinen in the 58th minute of play. Olavi Kuusiniemi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Paavo Askolin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 98 minutes of play, Gräggnäs's Jonne Kauppinen made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paavo Askolin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Olavi Kuusiniemi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 101st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paavo Askolin having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Gräggnäs left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mercedes Benz FC.
