The audience thought a goal was coming when Uolevi Kaipainen got free with Uolevi Kaltiainen in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ilpo Peltomaa was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 24th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Kustavi Viinanen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uolevi Kaltiainen having to interfere. Sampo Saarinen kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Uolevi Kaipainen got free with Uolevi Kaltiainen in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Kungas IFK getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Petri Niemivirta hit a great ball. In the 40th minute Kustavi Viinanen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uolevi Kaltiainen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kustavi Viinanen in the 43rd minute of play forced Kungas IFK's goalkeeper Uolevi Kaltiainen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kungas IFK's goalkeeper Uolevi Kaltiainen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Petteri Reijonen hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Ohto Räsänen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rajakulma's goalkeeper Mikko Koivisto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kalle Pirnes hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute, Arsi Metsberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ohto Räsänen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Kustavi Viinanen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Petri Niemivirta hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Uolevi Kaltiainen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kustavi Viinanen, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Kungas IFK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rajakulma.
