Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Verneri Lähteenmäki kicked off to start the match. Paul Joenväärä came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by ben's Arttu Kiprusoff. But to his dismay, Arttu Kiprusoff quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When ben's Kaj Vapaniemi in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tasavallan Presidentit's goalie prevented a goal. Paul Joenväärä came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by ben's Kaj Vapaniemi. But to his dismay, Kaj Vapaniemi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Sulevi Eronen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The Tasavallan Presidentit fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Tasavallan Presidentit's Joni Karvonen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 30 played minutes Tasavallan Presidentit got a freekick which was hit by Verneri Lähteenmäki. In the 33rd minute, Joni Karvonen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute, Juhapekka Etula hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teemu Suoraniemi hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Verneri Lähteenmäki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sulevi Eronen was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. 44 minutes into the match, ben's goal looked a bit too open when Verneri Lähteenmäki came free, but Sulevi Eronen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ben's Sulevi Eronen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joni Karvonen in the 45th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

If Arttu Kiprusoff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sulevi Eronen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Verneri Lähteenmäki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kaj Vapaniemi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paul Joenväärä read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Juhapekka Kangaskorpi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tasavallan Presidentit fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Sulevi Eronen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juhapekka Kangaskorpi, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 76 minutes into the game, Juhapekka Kangaskorpi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tasavallan Presidentit's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ben the free kick. After 76 played minutes Tasavallan Presidentit got a freekick which was hit by Juhapekka Kangaskorpi. In the 79th minute, Arttu Kiprusoff fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Paul Joenväärä, passed just outside the right post. 81 minutes into the match, ben's Arttu Kiprusoff sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paul Joenväärä narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kaj Vapaniemi struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Paul Joenväärä didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ben. When Tasavallan Presidentit's Verneri Lähteenmäki in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Juhapekka Etula came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the ben fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juhapekka Etula couldn't finish the play. With an all-out effort, ben's Paul Joenväärä threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arttu Kiprusoff, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. ben's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Valentin Elovaara in the 97th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, Tasavallan Presidentit could leave the field as winners, despite ben having more of the ball for most of the match.
