The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Harparskog FC. In the 46th minute there was a penalty for Diamonds. Ernesti Puikkonen stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tuomo Luhtio. 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elias Häkkinen was the one to do the kick off. If Sampo Raukko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The nice shot from Nikolai Pietikäinen in the 58thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Tuomo Luhtio had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Manu Vesanen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tuomo Luhtio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sampo Raukko, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. A hard shot 86 in the game by Nikolai Pietikäinen from a close distance when the talented Tuomo Luhtio managed to make a qualified save. Harparskog FC's players were relieved.
