Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Miro Sinisalo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Juharala IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Janne Järvenperä came free, but Oliver Rantamäki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 4 minutes, Vesa Väätäinen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juharala IFK and the Simpala players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Simpala booed when Juharala IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vesa Väätäinen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Toivo Vähäsavo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliver Rantamäki having to interfere. Oliver Rantamäki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miro Sinisalo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Urho Järventie blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ilpo Heinikangas having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Urho Järventie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ilpo Heinikangas was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Janne Järvenperä during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Janne Järvenperä kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miro Sinisalo in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oliver Rantamäki saved Juharala IFK from getting behind. Oliver Rantamäki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toivo Vähäsavo in the 26th minute of play. After 28 played minutes, Simpala's Mikael Puranen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Oliver Rantamäki came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Simpala reached it. After having played for 29 minutes, Toivo Vähäsavo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Simpala's supporters crossed their fingers, but Toivo Vähäsavo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Risto Mäntylä's late challenge caught a Simpala's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Risto Mäntylä helped the player get up and apologised. If Jouko Ollonen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Simpala's Ilpo Heinikangas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Simpala from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Juharala IFK booed when Simpala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janne Järvenperä didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oliver Rantamäki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miro Sinisalo in the 43rd minute of the match. If Jouko Ollonen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Urho Järventie stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Miro Sinisalo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Simpala's supporters rose to their feet, but Miro Sinisalo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oliver Rantamäki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Urho Järventie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Ilpo Heinikangas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute Miro Sinisalo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliver Rantamäki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When August Masalin came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Juharala IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that August Masalin couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miro Sinisalo in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oliver Rantamäki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 70 minutes into the match, Urho Järventie notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Simpala's Ilpo Heinikangas. Ilpo Heinikangas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Simpala's Ilpo Heinikangas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urho Järventie in the 74th minute of play. Jouko Ollonen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Teppo Vento fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Simpala's protests and gave Teppo Vento a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Simpala's Teppo Vento got a free kick in the 84th minute. Simpala's Miro Sinisalo got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Miro Sinisalo kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. If Urho Järventie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jouko Ollonen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Juharala IFK had played much better football throughout.
