Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Saynetkoski's Risto Pentsinen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aadolf Reinikainen in the 7th minute of play forced Saynetkoski's goalkeeper Risto Ruuttu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 11 minutes, Sampsa Kivi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kosklahti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sampsa Kivi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manne Kauppinen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Risto Pentsinen, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. If Juhani Voutilainen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Risto Ruuttu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aadolf Reinikainen in the 19th minute of the match. Risto Pentsinen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Manne Kauppinen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Risto Ruuttu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aadolf Reinikainen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Eemil Niskanen came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Kosklahti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eemil Niskanen couldn't finish the play. In the 40th match minute, Saynetkoski was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaapo Österlund to maneuver through the defense. Aadolf Reinikainen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Risto Ruuttu having to interfere. In the 46th minute, one of Kosklahti:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kosklahti. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aadolf Reinikainen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Kosklahti's Sampsa Kivi got a free kick in the 55th minute. Atro Virtala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Manne Kauppinen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the game, Risto Pentsinen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Manne Kauppinen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Atro Virtala struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. With a little luck, Kosklahti's Manne Kauppinen got control of the ball when Atro Virtala tried to sneak it across the goal line. Atro Virtala took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manne Kauppinen. Manne Kauppinen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Saul Kuoppala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Kosklahti getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Eemil Niskanen hit a great ball. 86 minutes into the match, Kosklahti's goal looked a bit too open when Risto Pentsinen came free, but Manne Kauppinen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manne Kauppinen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Risto Pentsinen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Saynetkoski had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
