Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Eimisjärvi IFK's Aarno Höök started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Eimisjärvi IFK booed when Storsjön FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimo Eronen didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Aarno Höök came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Eimisjärvi IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aarno Höök couldn't finish the play. Arvo Pihlainen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oskari Jämsänen having to interfere. Timo Askolin struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Oskari Jämsänen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Storsjön FC. Vesa Korkeamäki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaapo Vähäsavo, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Vili Loukonen hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Storsjön FC's Timo Askolin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Oskari Jämsänen. That made the score 1-1 after 28 minutes of play. Storsjön FC's Arvo Pihlainen came free and shot a quick shot against goal 34 minutes in the game, fortunately Oskari Jämsänen had problems saving as it came toward the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Eimisjärvi IFK's zone, Arvo Pihlainen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oskari Jämsänen came out of the goal and Arvo Pihlainen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eljas Lajunen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vesa Korkeamäki. Storsjön FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Arvo Pihlainen struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Oskari Jämsänen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Storsjön FC. Timo Askolin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Oskari Jämsänen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oskari Jämsänen made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Arvo Pihlainen sent off a good shot on target. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Timo Askolin made the kick off in the second half. When Nikodemus Salomaa fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eimisjärvi IFK's protests and gave Nikodemus Salomaa a yellow card for diving instead. Nikodemus Salomaa hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. If Kaapo Vähäsavo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, Eimisjärvi IFK's Aarno Höök dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Eimisjärvi IFK's Aarno Höök was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 65th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After a rather tough play, Eimisjärvi IFK's Jorma Ryynänen got a free kick in the 69th minute. Oskari Jämsänen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timo Askolin, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Kaapo Vähäsavo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorma Ryynänen got free with Vesa Korkeamäki in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arvo Pihlainen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oskari Jämsänen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd match minute, Eimisjärvi IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomi Piispa to maneuver through the defense. Oskari Jämsänen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petteri Uusiniemi in the 84th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arvo Pihlainen in the 88th minute of play forced Eimisjärvi IFK's goalkeeper Oskari Jämsänen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vesa Korkeamäki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aarno Höök in the 89th minute of the match. After having played for 90 minutes, Kaapo Vähäsavo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eimisjärvi IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kaapo Vähäsavo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aarno Höök sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Storsjön FC's Arvo Pihlainen got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
