Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Hannes Ruutu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 3 minutes of play, Reinikkala's Pekko Peteri made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Toni Santala was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pekko Peteri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Toni Santala made a huge save. Ärvings FC's Eero Valkama got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Reinikkala's Jonne Tuomainen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Toni Santala. That made the score 2-0 after 15 minutes of play. Hannes Ruutu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arttu Ylönen having to interfere. 20 minutes into the game, Gabriel Sinkkonen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ärvings FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Reinikkala the free kick. After having played for 23 minutes, Pekko Peteri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Reinikkala's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pekko Peteri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pekko Peteri struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Toni Santala didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Reinikkala. When Reinikkala's Jonne Tuomainen in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ärvings FC's goalie prevented a goal. Pekko Peteri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the match, Jonne Tuomainen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Toni Santala, 3-0. Arttu Ylönen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eero Valkama in the 37th minute of play. Arttu Ylönen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hannes Ruutu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pekko Peteri's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Toni Santala skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Eero Valkama had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute, Hannes Ruutu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Eero Valkama's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arttu Ylönen was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. In the 49th minute, Jonne Tuomainen fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Toni Santala, passed just outside the right post. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonne Tuomainen made a kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Ärvings FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pekko Peteri came free, but Toni Santala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th play minute Eero Valkama came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Arttu Ylönen. 3-1. In the 64th minute Jonne Tuomainen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toni Santala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hannes Ruutu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eero Valkama sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jonne Tuomainen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Reinikkala's zone, Eero Valkama stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arttu Ylönen came out of the goal and Eero Valkama tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Toni Santala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonne Tuomainen in the 77th minute of play. Gabriel Sinkkonen hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Toni Santala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonne Tuomainen, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Tero Kouhi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 99th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Toni Santala. Ärvings FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
