Reijo Räsänen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raimo Malmivaara's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Röylä FC's goal looked a bit too open when Raimo Malmivaara came free, but Reijo Räsänen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reijo Räsänen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimo Malmivaara in the 12th minute of play. Elias Allen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juho Höök went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After having played for 18 minutes, Jan Ruisniemi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vestervik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan Ruisniemi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 19th minute Eetu Ihanamäki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Allen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eetu Ihanamäki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Allen having to interfere. When Röylä FC's Eetu Ihanamäki in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vestervik's goalie prevented a goal. Jan Ruisniemi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kauko Koivunen's late challenge caught a Röylä FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kauko Koivunen helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Röylä FC booed when Vestervik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kauko Koivunen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute, Juho Höök reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Elias Allen. The goal made the score 2-0. Vestervik's Elias Allen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Vestervik from getting a goal against them. Juho Höök received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Elias Allen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Kauko Koivunen got his second yellow card in the match during the 53rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Vestervik getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Kauko Koivunen hit a great ball. If Juho Höök had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th play minute Jan Ruisniemi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Reijo Räsänen. 2-1. Raimo Malmivaara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Reijo Räsänen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reijo Räsänen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Ruisniemi in the 64th minute of play. Juho Höök took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elias Allen. Elias Allen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Elias Allen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eetu Ihanamäki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eetu Ihanamäki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elias Allen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juho Höök in the 74th minute of the match. If Jan Ruisniemi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Vestervik booed when Röylä FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niilo Korhonen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elias Allen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juho Höök in the 85th minute of play. When Teemu Leppilampi fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vestervik's protests and gave Teemu Leppilampi a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Vestervik's Teemu Leppilampi got a free kick in the 86th minute. Juho Höök received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Elias Allen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Röylä FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
