Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Raine Kemppainen kicked off to start the match. Atro Järventaus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raine Kemppainen in the 3rd minute of play. After 3 played minutes Sikkola got a freekick which was hit by Tuukka Hyökyvaara. After having played for 4 minutes, Raine Kemppainen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uva's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raine Kemppainen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eeli Kuivalainen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Visa Allen took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Orvo Kevari to make any attempt to save it. Veikko Masalin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atro Järventaus having to interfere. After recieving a nice pass, Uva's Toni Hotakainen tried to score from far away in the 26th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Sikkola's goal looked a bit too open when Raine Kemppainen came free, but Atro Järventaus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Veikko Masalin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atro Järventaus having to interfere. Kalervo Järvensivu charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kalervo Järvensivu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th minute, Visa Allen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Sikkola's goal looked a bit too open when Veikko Masalin came free, but Atro Järventaus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Uva's zone, Visa Allen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orvo Kevari came out of the goal and Visa Allen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Visa Allen to make the kick off. Veikko Masalin was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 53rd minute. Uva's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 70th minute Raine Kemppainen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atro Järventaus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Veikko Masalin came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Uva fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Veikko Masalin couldn't finish the play. Veikko Masalin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atro Järventaus having to interfere. Urpo Siren charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Urpo Siren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Uva booed when Sikkola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urpo Siren didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Raine Kemppainen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uva's supporters rose to their feet, but Raine Kemppainen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atro Järventaus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 91 minutes into the match, Uva's goal looked a bit too open when Eeli Kuivalainen came free, but Orvo Kevari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eeli Kuivalainen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sikkola's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
