Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Väinö Viander started the match with the kick off. When Jari Manninen came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Autionkyllä FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jari Manninen couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 7th minute of the game. One of Ojalanperä:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Autionkyllä FC:s goal. After 8 minutes Ojalanperä's goalkeeper Jyrki Wallenius managed, with a little bit of luck, save Launo Kapanen's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. 14 minutes into the match, Ojalanperä's goalkeeper Jyrki Wallenius had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yrjö Marttila. Väinö Viander might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Seppo Harjanne. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Väinö Viander ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 17th minute, Tarmo Tähtinen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Väinö Viander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Seppo Harjanne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Seppo Harjanne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joni Pölönen in the 20th minute of the match. Seppo Harjanne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joni Pölönen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joni Pölönen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seppo Harjanne having to interfere. After 31 played minutes Ojalanperä got a freekick which was hit by Alpi Nikkinen. Launo Kapanen was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 32nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Autionkyllä FC's Eerikki Lahtela got a free kick in the 34th minute. Jyrki Wallenius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jari Manninen in the 36th minute of play. Anttoni Uhlbäck hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jari Manninen to strike the kick off in the second half. When Ojalanperä's Väinö Viander in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Autionkyllä FC's goalie prevented a goal. Anttoni Uhlbäck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seppo Harjanne having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Väinö Viander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ojalanperä's supporters rose to their feet, but Väinö Viander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Seppo Harjanne breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Seppo Harjanne came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ojalanperä's Alpi Nikkinen. But to his dismay, Alpi Nikkinen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Väinö Viander in the 71st minute of play forced Autionkyllä FC's goalkeeper Seppo Harjanne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vilho Reponen during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 72nd minute, Vilho Reponen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th match minute, Ojalanperä was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jani Brinck to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ojalanperä's goalkeeper Jyrki Wallenius, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joni Pölönen got free with Seppo Harjanne in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Jari Manninen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jyrki Wallenius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yrjö Marttila in the 91st minute of the match. Jyrki Wallenius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jari Manninen, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
