Hannes Kotilahti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antto Niemelä, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Otso Louke who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Hannes Kotilahti when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 13 minutes into the match, Parkas's goal looked a bit too open when Antto Niemelä came free, but Hannes Kotilahti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 16 in the game by Otso Louke from a close distance when the talented Hannes Kotilahti managed to make a qualified save. Parkas's players were relieved. Hannes Kotilahti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antto Niemelä in the 17th minute of the match. Otso Louke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hannes Kotilahti having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Vilho Hyökyvaara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sipi Petriläinen. Övermark IFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vilho Hyökyvaara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Antto Niemelä had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vilho Hyökyvaara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sipi Petriläinen having to interfere. Otso Louke could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Hannes Kotilahti made a huge save. Sipi Petriläinen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilho Hyökyvaara, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Vilho Hyökyvaara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antto Niemelä to strike the kick off in the second half. Sipi Petriläinen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Miinalainen in the 62nd minute of play. A collision led to Parkas getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Artturi Saksinen hit a great ball. Hannes Kotilahti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otso Louke in the 65th minute of play. Tapio Luotonen hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Hannes Kotilahti came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Övermark IFK's Otso Louke. But to his dismay, Otso Louke quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In a very dangerous position, a player in Parkas fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! In the 74th minute there was a penalty for Övermark IFK. Zachris Kangasalusta stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hannes Kotilahti. 2-1. Vilho Hyökyvaara struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Sipi Petriläinen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Parkas. After having played for 88 minutes, Otso Louke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Övermark IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Otso Louke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Juha-Pekka Welling hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute, Antto Niemelä got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 97th minute Otso Louke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hannes Kotilahti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 99 minutes into the match, Otso Louke had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hannes Kotilahti. Parkas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Otso Louke was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2.
