Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Iisakki Petsamo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Vilhelm Venäläinen fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skafvaböle FC's protests and gave Vilhelm Venäläinen a yellow card for diving instead. Jami Tammisto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kaarle Ruutu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Jami Tammisto made a precise shot to the right of Kaarle Ruutu. Vesikkola IFK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 13 minutes into the match, Iisakki Petsamo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kaarle Ruutu. Vesikkola IFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iisakki Petsamo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Sipi Heliskoski hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Ernesti Lehkosuo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aarre Haapamäki having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Skafvaböle FC's zone, Jaakoppi Jokela stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aarre Haapamäki came out of the goal and Jaakoppi Jokela tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ernesti Lehkosuo's late challenge caught a Skafvaböle FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernesti Lehkosuo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Vesikkola IFK's Ernesti Lehkosuo got a free kick in the 24th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Sipi Heliskoski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Skafvaböle FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vesikkola IFK the free kick. A collision led to Skafvaböle FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Sipi Heliskoski hit a great ball. Jaakoppi Jokela might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aarre Haapamäki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jaakoppi Jokela ran back to his position shaking his head. Jaakoppi Jokela struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Aarre Haapamäki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vesikkola IFK. In the 37thth minute of the game Ernesti Lehkosuo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skafvaböle FC's Aarre Haapamäki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Jami Tammisto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skafvaböle FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jami Tammisto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kaarle Ruutu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 41 played minutes Skafvaböle FC got a freekick which was hit by Jami Tammisto. A collision led to Skafvaböle FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Sipi Heliskoski hit a great ball. After the first half Skafvaböle FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesti Lehkosuo in the 57th minute of play forced Skafvaböle FC's goalkeeper Aarre Haapamäki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Skafvaböle FC's goalkeeper Aarre Haapamäki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jaakoppi Jokela in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aarre Haapamäki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iisakki Petsamo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kaarle Ruutu came out and tried to block the shot, but Iisakki Petsamo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 64th minute. If Iisakki Petsamo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iisakki Petsamo in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kaarle Ruutu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vesikkola IFK's Kaarle Ruutu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iisakki Petsamo in the 77th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jami Tammisto got free with Kaarle Ruutu in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aarre Haapamäki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aleksanteri Hevonkorpi, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iisakki Petsamo in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kaarle Ruutu saved Vesikkola IFK from getting behind. The Skafvaböle FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Skafvaböle FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
