Arsi Reinikka kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After 30 minutes of play, Vesikkola IFK's Ernesti Lehkosuo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leevi Peltola was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kasper Ryynanen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Inkilä's Leevi Peltola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesti Lehkosuo in the 42nd minute of play. After 43 minutes, Lauri Anttila mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vesikkola IFK and the Inkilä players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Jaakoppi Jokela came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Vesikkola IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaakoppi Jokela couldn't finish the play. Ernesti Lehkosuo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Leevi Peltola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ernesti Lehkosuo to make the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Jaakoppi Jokela managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vesikkola IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaakoppi Jokela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesti Lehkosuo in the 59th minute of play forced Inkilä's goalkeeper Leevi Peltola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kaarle Ruutu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kasper Ryynanen's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Vesikkola IFK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
