Eeli Ilola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Taisto Vapamaa, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Ilppo Timmonen did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised David Leinonen 19 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Ilppo Timmonen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vihusaari FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ilppo Timmonen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Leinonen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Taisto Vapamaa struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Eeli Ilola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tammiston. The referee showed Päiviö Rimpiläinen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Taisto Vapamaa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Veeti Määttänen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Leinonen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Timo Välimäki reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of David Leinonen. The goal made the score 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Taisto Vapamaa made a kick off. Tammiston's Tane Ollikainen was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 52nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When Arthur Sammalkangas fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tammiston's protests and gave Arthur Sammalkangas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 59th match minute, Tammiston was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arthur Sammalkangas to maneuver through the defense. David Leinonen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timo Välimäki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Päiviö Rimpiläinen kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Atte Uotila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Leinonen having to interfere. Taisto Vapamaa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Eeli Ilola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ilppo Timmonen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 92 minutes into the game, Ilppo Timmonen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vihusaari FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tammiston the free kick. After 92 played minutes Vihusaari FC got a freekick which was hit by Ilppo Timmonen. 95 minutes into the match, Vihusaari FC's goalkeeper Eeli Ilola had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tane Ollikainen. Vihusaari FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
