Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kalevi Lehto got the match started through his kick off. Onni Kärnä showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jani Tuomainen in the 4th minute of the match. Onni Kärnä showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juho Kiuru, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After 6 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sandås! The referee gave Strandkroken IFK a penalty, 8 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Simo Wahlroos, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sandås's Onni Kärnä. 0-1. In the 11th minute, Juho Kiuru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Strandkroken IFK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Onni Kärnä made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jani Tuomainen in the 14th minute of play. Onni Kärnä showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juho Kiuru in the 16th minute of the match. Kalevi Lehto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jani Tuomainen in the 27th minute of play forced Sandås's goalkeeper Onni Kärnä to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 28 played minutes Strandkroken IFK got a freekick which was hit by Tenho Sainio. If Juho Kiuru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juho Kiuru took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Onni Kärnä. Onni Kärnä dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After having played for 37 minutes, Niko Reponen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sandås's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niko Reponen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sandås's Kalevi Lehto got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Strandkroken IFK's Tenho Sainio got a free kick in the 41st minute. Timo Toivanen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yrjö Kamppuri having to interfere. After the first half Strandkroken IFK were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Jani Tuomainen made the kick off in the second half. Onni Kärnä made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Juho Kiuru sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Strandkroken IFK booed when Sandås was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timo Toivanen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niko Reponen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Yrjö Kamppuri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, one of Strandkroken IFK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Strandkroken IFK. Strandkroken IFK's Yrjö Kamppuri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kalevi Lehto in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute Timo Toivanen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yrjö Kamppuri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Strandkroken IFK getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Kauko Pelttari hit a great ball. A collision led to Sandås getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Niko Reponen hit a great ball. In the 87th minute, Strandkroken IFK's Tenho Sainio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Onni Kärnä. Onni Kärnä yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tenho Sainio during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 97th minute, Tenho Sainio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 100 minutes had been played when some careless play by Strandkroken IFK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ari Joensuu was slow to take the kick. During this time Sandås's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Sandås's Hannu Mäkitalo getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Strandkroken IFK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
