Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kyösti Tuovinen in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sami Vehanen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sampsa Berg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ukko Kangasniemi in the 14th minute of play. Real Madrid CF's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ukko Kangasniemi 16 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. When Viljo Uitto fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kauhaoja's protests and gave Viljo Uitto a yellow card for diving instead. After 20 played minutes Kauhaoja got a freekick which was hit by Viljo Uitto. After 21 played minutes Kauhaoja got a freekick which was hit by Miro Ihanamäki. Viljo Uitto was shown his second yellow card after 22 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 23rd minute, Viljo Uitto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iiro Pärssinen during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Eerik Virkkunen came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Kauhaoja fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eerik Virkkunen couldn't finish the play. The wind increased when Valentin Vehanen made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Kauhaoja's zone, Kyösti Tuovinen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sami Vehanen came out of the goal and Kyösti Tuovinen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Vehanen in the 59th minute of play forced Kauhaoja's goalkeeper Sami Vehanen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sami Vehanen was a little too slow when Valentin Vehanen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 1-1. If Eerik Virkkunen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sami Vehanen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Vehanen in the 78th minute of the match. The referee ignored Kauhaoja's protests and gave Ukko Kangasniemi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st match minute, Kauhaoja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ukko Kangasniemi to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute, Valentin Vehanen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sami Vehanen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match was over Real Madrid CF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kauhaoja throughout the match.
